Sifam Tinsley AL39W series Analogue Voltmeter AC, model IS 11180, is a precision instrument designed for AC voltage measurement with panel cutout dimensions of 72 mm height and 94 mm width. This voltmeter features a compact depth of 10.3 mm, facilitating easy installation in limited panel spaces while maintaining accurate readings.

Designed in accordance with IEC standards and performance based on BS6840: Part 17:1991 and IEC 268-17:1990, the instrument ensures compliance with dynamic characteristics, frequency response, harmonic distortion, input impedance, and temperature range criteria. The voltmeter is calibrated to work with a 3.6 kΩ resistor, providing a reference deflection at 4VU above the scale marking for reliable signal measurement.

The instrument's construction includes a transparent acrylic front and a polystyrene (SAN) rear body moulding. The taut band core magnet movement housed in a 26 mm diameter barrel occupies minimum space behind the panel. The voltmeter includes a rear zero adjustment screw to maintain accurate calibration over time.

Connections are provided through 6 mm tag terminals, with a high-specification M4 bolt option available. The meters do not suffer calibration interference even when mounted on ferrous panels. The black ABS front and behind panel mounting bezels are provided separately to suit panel requirements.

The AL39W series includes a dual meter scale that can indicate -20 to 3 dB and 0 to 100%, enhancing its versatility. Rear mounting 12V bulb top-lighting assemblies are optionally available to aid readability in panel installations. The voltmeter is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 55°C and panel cut-out dimensions designed for a barrel diameter of 27 mm with fixing stud size M2.5 x 10 mm, supporting secure panel integration.
