The Sioen S101-KALDVIK-2XL Arc Flash Jacket is a highly protective unisex safety garment designed for industrial use where arc flash hazards exist. Constructed from advanced SIOPOR® Excel 3-layer polyester dobby ripstop fabric with inherent flame retardant properties and breathable FR PU coating, this jacket offers durable protection against thermal and electrical risks.
Its design includes a zip closure under a protective flap secured with touch and close fasteners to prevent accidental exposure. The jacket features 3 outer patched pockets and 2 inner pockets providing ample storage for personal and work-related items. Round sleeves with adjustable narrowing via press studs enhance comfort and fit.
Flame retardant reflective tape of 50mm width is applied for increased visibility and safety compliance, making it suitable for use in low-light industrial environments. The jacket allows for the attachment of a hood (sold separately), providing additional protection from environmental elements.
Certified to multiple international safety standards such as IEC 61482-2 APC1 with an arc thermal performance value (ATPV) of 9.1 cal/cm², EN ISO 20471 Class 3 for high visibility, EN 1149-5 anti-static, EN ISO 11612 (A1 A2 B1 C1 E1 F1) for heat and flame resistance, and EN ISO 11611 Class 1 for welding protection, this garment meets rigorous protective requirements.
