Alpha Wire 25014 BK005 Xtra-Guard 2 Performance Control Cable is a heavy-duty industrial cable designed for mechanical abrasion resistance and harsh environments. This 4-core cable uses 0.23mm² (24 AWG) tin copper wire conductors and features a black polyethylene jacket that provides outstanding protection and flexibility over a length of 30 meters. The unscreened cable operates safely up to 300V and withstands temperatures ranging from -30°C minimum to 90°C maximum.
The uniquely formulated polyurethane Xtra-Guard 2 jacket ensures three times the tear and abrasion resistance compared to PVC, making it ideal for applications where mechanical abuse is common. The cable also includes a nylon ripcord for efficient jacket removal and installation. Its flame retardant and UV-stable properties enhance operational safety and durability.
