RS PRO 832-0282 3D Printer Filament is a high-quality yellow PLA filament with 2.85 mm diameter and 1 kg weight designed for fused deposition modelling (FDM) 3D printers. Manufactured in Spain, this filament is compatible with common desktop 3D printers and offers excellent tensile strength and surface finish suitable for both home and office use.

The PLA filament features low shrinkage and quick hardening properties, minimizing deformation during the printing process. It performs well within a printing temperature range of 180°C to 210°C and has a melting temperature of 210°C. The heat distortion temperature HDT B at 0.45 MPa is 95°C, contributing to its dimensional stability in printed parts.

This filament does not require a heated bed, but if one is present, a temperature of ± 50-60°C is recommended to enhance adhesion. The filament is known for its semi-matte finish and acetone resistance, making it suitable for producing prototype parts, household tools, educational projects, and architectural models.

Care should be taken to store the filament correctly, preferably in dry conditions with desiccant dehumidifiers, to avoid moisture absorption which can cause print defects. Made of high-quality Polylactic Acid (PLA) material.
