RS PRO 812-5166 Ball Valve is a high-quality nickel plated brass 2-way ball valve designed for industrial and plumbing fluid control applications. It features threaded BSP inlet and outlet connections, rated for a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar, and operates reliably within a temperature range of -20°C to 170°C. The full port body complies with DIN 3357, allowing maximum flow and minimal pressure drop.

The valve includes a blowout-proof nickel plated brass stem equipped with two FPM O-rings for enhanced safety and durability. Pure PTFE self-lubricating seats with a flexible-lip design provide excellent sealing performance and long service life. The chrome plated brass ball extends durability under frequent operation, and all seals are lubricated with silicone-free compounds to avoid contamination and maintain performance.

This ball valve is suitable for use in plumbing systems, water management, and process control applications such as line draining, pressure sensing, and fluid diversion. It features dual side drains G 1/4in ISO 228, allowing safe downstream venting. The valve body and cap are hot forged, sand blasted, and sealed with high-quality thread sealants to ensure leak-tight connections.

Manufactured 100% in Italy from the finest brass according to EN 12165 and EN 12164 standards, the valve offers high reliability and ease of maintenance with no metal-to-metal moving parts. Travel stops prevent stem stress and the dual sealing system enables operation in either direction, simplifying installation.
