Product Description

ABB 2CTB815704R0600 OVR Surge Protection Device is a DIN rail mounted Type 2 surge protective device engineered to protect electrical systems and sensitive equipment against transient overvoltages such as lightning surges. It is rated for a maximum operating voltage of 275V and can safely discharge surge currents up to 40 kA with an 8/20μs waveform. This device incorporates patented QuickSafe technology and a safety reserve system that enhances operational reliability and safety during surges.

The surge protection device features three protected lines providing comprehensive coverage. It is designed to operate reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 80°C, making it suitable for industrial, commercial, and HVAC electrical installations. Its compliance with international standards IEC 61643-11 and EN 61643-11 ensures high-quality and dependable surge protection performance.
