RS PRO 400W Halogen Floodlight with 1 LED, Die Cast Aluminium Housing, IP44, 240V AC IP44

RS PRO IP44 400W Halogen Floodlight with model code IP44 is designed for robust indoor and outdoor lighting applications, powered at 240V AC and consuming 400W of power. It offers a practical, durable lighting solution for areas such as car parks, patios, gardens, or general yard illumination.

The floodlight features a die-cast aluminium housing finished in matte black epoxy to resist scratches and impacts. The diffuser is composed of toughened glass, sealed with a silicone rubber gasket to provide effective water resistance under the IP44 rating. This means it is protected against solid objects over 1 mm and water splashes from any direction.

Equipped with a single halogen LED, it delivers wide beam illumination angled at 180°, suitable for broad lighting needs. The unit mounts conveniently using the included wall bracket, allowing secure installation where required. It does not include a lamp; an R7S 400W 118mm halogen lamp is required separately for operation.

The device operates within a temperature range of -25°C to 40°C and complies with international standards IEC 60695-2-1 and electrostatic control standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007. The floodlight is RoHS compliant, ensuring environmentally responsible manufacturing without hazardous substances.

Common industrial and commercial use cases include water-resistant lighting for building exteriors, residential yards, HVAC system areas, construction site floodlighting, and other large area illuminations requiring durable and reliable performance.

This floodlight uses a 400W halogen lamp with 1 LED for bright illumination. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications with an IP44 ingress protection rating. The housing is made of strong die-cast aluminium with a matte black epoxy finish for scratch and impact resistance.
