Product Description

TE Connectivity 55A0111-26-0 Hook Up Wire is a high-performance electrical wire designed for demanding industrial and aerospace applications. Insulated with a modified radiation cross-linked Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) polymer, it offers outstanding mechanical toughness and chemical resistance.

This Type 55 series wire features a dual wall Airframe construction with a total wall thickness of 0.25 mm and a contrasting blue core color as a damage indicator. Its 0.15 mm² cross-sectional area corresponds to 26 AWG size with 19 strands of 38 AWG tinned copper, ensuring excellent conductivity and flexibility.

The wire has a nominal outside diameter of 0.81 mm and is rated for voltages up to 600 V, with a temperature operating range from -65°C to 150°C. It uniquely combines flame retardant and self-extinguishing properties, making it suitable for safety-critical installations.
