Product Description
Fluke PRV240FS Voltage Indicator Proving Unit LED is a compact, battery-powered verification device that supplies a stable 240V AC or DC output voltage. This product is essential for confirming the correct operation of no-test-lead FieldSense measurements and other high-impedance instruments in industrial settings. Powered by four AA alkaline batteries, it supports approximately 2,000 tests per battery set, optimizing field convenience and reducing downtime.
The unit features LED indicators that provide immediate visual confirmation of the output voltage presence. Recessed probe contacts enhance user safety by preventing accidental contact. The device’s robust construction meets IEC 61010-1 and IEC 61010-2-030 safety standards and complies with EMC requirements such as IEC 61326-1 and CISPR 11, ensuring suitability for demanding industrial electromagnetic environments.
Its small form factor and lightweight design (0.32 kg with batteries) make it highly portable, complemented by a magnetic TPAK hanging strap for secure hands-free operation during electrical maintenance and testing procedures. The proving unit operates effectively within a temperature range of -10°C to 50°C and can tolerate humidity levels up to 90% at lower temperatures, decreasing to 70% at higher temperatures, fitting diverse environmental conditions.
This proving unit is ideal for validating FieldSense functionality on T6 electrical testers and suitable for high-impedance multimeters and clamp meters. It is also used in factory test benches requiring a portable, reliable voltage source, aiding pre-measurement verification routines to reduce exposure to live electrical systems.
Supplies 240V AC or DC to validate instrument response under load. LED indicators confirm output voltage presence for immediate feedback. Operates on four AA alkaline batteries, good for about 2,000 tests per set. Lightweight and portable design with a magnetic TPAK hanging strap.
Recessed contacts ensure user safety during probe insertion. Meets industrial EMC and safety standards IEC 61010-1, IEC 61010-2-030, CISPR 11, and IEC 61326-1. Operates within -10°C to 50°C temperature and controlled humidity conditions.
Ideal for electrical maintenance, factory test benches, and on-site FieldSense verification. Compact size aids technicians in reducing exposure to live systems during testing.
