Product Description
RS PRO IP54 flanged silver lid die cast aluminium enclosure offers reliable shielding and robust protection for electrical and electronic components. Its die cast aluminium ADC 12 alloy construction provides durability and thermal resistance up to 250°C without compromising enclosure integrity. This enclosure measures 55.5 mm in height, 252 mm in length, and 146.1 mm in width, including the mounting flanges positioned on the bottom for easy wall or panel installation.
The lid features a lipped design with a 1.5° taper to the base, producing a tight fit and enhancing EMI and RFI screening. The shielding capacity exceeds 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100kHz, suitable for environments where interference protection is necessary.
Fastening is provided by M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws located outside the inner space to maintain internal clearance. The enclosure comes with a natural plain aluminium finish without any external coating, allowing custom finishing options like powder painting if desired.
