Product Description

RS PRO 517-3377 is a shielded die cast aluminium enclosure offering high durability and efficient EMI/RFI protection for sensitive electronic and industrial components. Measuring 25.5 mm in height, 79.9 mm in length, and 54.9 mm in width, it provides a compact protective housing for a wide range of general purpose applications.

Constructed from ADC 12 aluminium alloy, the enclosure withstands temperatures up to 250°C without compromising structural integrity, making it ideal for high-temperature environments. The silver-coloured lid features a lipped edge with a precise 1.5° taper to the base, ensuring a tight fit and superior electromagnetic shielding performance rated at better than 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100kHz.

This RS PRO enclosure has a natural, uncoated finish that can be customized with powder paint if desired. Fastening is achieved by M3.5x9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws that secure the lid firmly while ensuring the fastening holes remain outside the internal enclosure space.

The enclosure is RoHS compliant and non-ventilated with no flanging, suitable for use in industrial automation, electrical, manufacturing, and laboratory environments requiring protection of electronic devices from EMI interference and mechanical damage.
