RS PRO 517-3327 is a Silver Lid Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure engineered for EMI/RFI shielding and high temperature endurance in industrial and electronic applications. Constructed from ADC 12 die-cast aluminium alloy, the enclosure offers excellent robustness with a natural finish and no external coating, making it suitable for further powder painting if desired.
Designed with a lipped lid that provides enhanced EMI/RFI screening, this enclosure ensures shielding better than 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100 kHz. The 1.5° taper per side from lid to base guarantees a secure, tight fit, with fastening holes located outside the inner space to maximize usable volume.
