Product Description
MENNEKES 282RS AM-TOP Industrial Power Connector is a heavy-duty 16 Amp, 400 Volt cable mount plug featuring an IP67 rating for robust protection against dust and water ingress. The connector uses a 4-pole configuration with straight orientation and male contacts, optimally designed for harsh industrial environments.
Constructed with a tough Amaplast industrial-grade thermoplastic casing, the connector delivers excellent abrasion, heat, cold, and wear resistance. Nickel-plated contacts mounted in a high heat resistant carrier provide excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting reliability even in severe conditions.
The screw terminal connection features open terminals all facing in the same direction, allowing rapid and secure wiring. The integrated cable gland tightens to grip the cable firmly and seal the gasket automatically, providing integral strain relief to prevent cable kinking.
This connector is designed according to BS EN 60329 standards offering IP67 protection, making it suitable for environments exposed to dust, water, mud, and snow. Color coded red in line with BS EN 60309-2 / BS4343 standards, it denotes voltage ratings from 380 to 480 V.
