This cable consists of 14 pairs (14 cores) with a cross-sectional area of 0.34 mm² per conductor, housed within a grey polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath that offers flame retardant properties according to international standards IEC 60332-1-2 and EN 60332-1-2. The construction includes stranded bare copper conductors (7 strands of 0.25 mm each) which provide excellent flexibility and conductivity.
The LiYCY cable is DIN colour coded for straightforward installation and identification, with each core insulated using PVC. A tinned copper shield braid encases the cores, providing effective screening against electrical interference, ensuring signal integrity in environments subject to noise.
