Chemelex JBM-100 Trace Heating Junction Box is engineered polymer enclosure measuring 120 mm height, 220 mm length, and 90 mm width designed for trace heating systems in both hazardous and non-hazardous industrial environments. Rated IP66, it offers superior protection against dust ingress and water jets, ideal for demanding HVAC and thermal management applications.
This junction box supports Raychem® single-entry power connections, suitable for BTV and XTV heating cables, ensuring full protection and reliable power transfer. The cold-applied design eliminates the need for heat guns, facilitating faster, safer installation workflows in industrial settings.
The kit includes a cable gland, cage clamp terminals for quick wiring, and an internal earth continuity plate for electrical safety compliance. It complies with FM, CSA, and DNV standards and carries ATEX certification for use in explosive atmospheres, making it suitable for stringent regulatory environments.
The JBM-100 integrates the functions of connection kits, insulation entry kits, and support brackets, streamlining system setup. It supports connections for multiple heating cables via the JBM-100-EP variant, while a single cable connection version (JBS-100-EP) is also available. Note that the E-150-E end seal kit is required to terminate each cable properly.
