SICK Pneumatic Sensor IP68 30V dc Magnetic Cylindrical Sensor with LED Indicator MZT8-03VPS-KR0

SICK MZT8-03VPS-KR0 pneumatic sensor is a magnetic cylindrical sensor designed for detecting piston positions in pneumatic actuators. It operates at 30V dc and is equipped with an LED indicator for operational status. The sensor fits seamlessly into standard cylinders, linear slides, and grippers with T-slots, and can also be adapted for round rod, tie-rod, profile cylinders, and those with a dovetail groove.

The insertion from above allows quick and easy mounting without removing cylinder end caps. The combined fixing screw enables secure attachment with just a quarter turn using an Allen key or flat-head screwdriver. Its short housing design makes it particularly suitable for short stroke cylinders.

Constructed from plastic and polyamide 12, the sensor is resistant to adverse conditions, with IP67, IP68, and IP69K enclosure ratings that safeguard against dust, water, and high-pressure cleaning jets. It functions reliably within temperatures from -30°C up to 80°C, and certain variants withstand temperatures up to 100°C, supporting high-temperature industrial environments.

Featuring normally open output with PNP switching action and patented GMR technology integrated with SICK ASIC, the sensor ensures precise switching on the first attempt, thereby increasing machine output while suppressing multiple switching operations. This reduces errors and maintenance requirements.
