Product Description
HMM Flameproof motors are made up of three main parts: a housing, an internal stator, and an external rotor. The housing contains magnets and coils which produce electricity when they pass through alternating current. The stator is composed of two sets of poles, each set consisting of four poles. The external rotor has six slots into which the stator poles are inserted. When the motor runs, the magnetic flux changes as the rotor turns within the stator. This causes the coil windings to generate heat which can be dissipated via the housing or fins attached to it. The result is a compact, lightweight, reliable unit that will last years without maintenance.
