Product Description

RS PRO 199-1430 Black Potting Compound Epoxy 500 g is an advanced twin-pack epoxy resin potting compound designed for general electronics protection applications. This high-quality epoxy offers a hard coating that encapsulates electronic components such as printed circuit boards (PCBs), providing excellent mechanical and environmental protection.

The compound is flame retardant to UL94 V-0 standards with 'clean' flame retardant technology that emits low toxicity fumes and low smoke during curing. It adheres effectively to a wide range of substrates and offers robust resistance to chemicals, moisture, vibration, and physical shocks.

This epoxy potting compound is supplied as a convenient twin-pack containing separate epoxy resin and hardener components inside a sealed bag allowing for easy 'mix in the bag' application, reducing mess and user contact. Upon mixing, it cures in approximately 24 hours forming a durable and insulating mass.
