RS PRO 198-4037 Sealed Lead Acid Battery is a 12 V, 7.8 Ah capacity battery constructed using Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology. This T2 termination type battery measures 65 mm width and 99 mm height, designed expressly for stand-by uses including uninterruptible power supplies and emergency backup systems.
The battery is valve-regulated and maintenance-free, featuring a unique pressure-controlled vent valve which significantly reduces water loss and prevents air or sparks from entering the cell. Its starved electrolyte design absorbs acid within the separators, allowing for optimal battery longevity and preventing spills.
