STMicroelectronics STEVAL-CCA037V1 Analogue Development Kit Audio Amplifier Demonstration Board is built to evaluate the TS4990IQT low power audio amplifier device. The board operates over a supply voltage range from 2.2 V to 5.5 V, delivering an output power of 1.2 W at VCC of 5 V into an 8 Ω load with distortion (THD) of 1% at 1 kHz frequency. Its ultra-low power consumption standby mode reduces current draw to 10 nA, making it suitable for battery-powered and energy-sensitive devices.

Additional features include a high power supply rejection ratio (62 dB at 217 Hz with gain 2 V/V), near zero pop and click sounds preventing unwanted noise during power-up/down, and integrated thermal and short-circuit protection to enhance reliability and safety during deployment.
