Product Description

RS PRO 195-1520 Aluminium Instrument Case is a black anodised, extruded aluminium enclosure measuring 30 mm in height, 80 mm in length, and 108.5 mm in width. It is designed for housing and protecting electronic components including wiring and PCB boards in industrial, electrical, automation, telecommunications, and mechanical applications.

The case features integral card slots for easy PCB mounting and component installation. Its black anodised finish provides enhanced corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. The extruded dovetail slots along the sides accept surface mounting brackets, expanding installation options.

This enclosure is supplied as a kit containing one aluminium extruded case, two aluminium end plates, and eight No4 x 3/8 Plastite screws, ready for assembly.

Manufactured from lightweight yet durable aluminium, this enclosure offers excellent robustness while maintaining a low weight of only 122.5 grams. The aluminium construction ensures high corrosion resistance suitable for indoor environments; however, it should not be exposed to water as it is not waterproof.

The maximum height of components mounted on a PCB in the bottom slot is 40.75 mm. This enclosure supports a wide range of applications such as electrical housing, button switching elements, telecommunication junction boxes, network infrastructure, and automation equipment.
