Scame 500.3286 Socket Switchable IP44 3+E Industrial Interlock is designed for reliable industrial and commercial power connectivity at 32A and 400V. The device features a thermoplastic rubber body providing resistance to abnormal heat and fire up to 650 °C, tested under IEC 60695-2-1 glow-wire standards.

This socket includes a mechanical interlock system to enhance safety by preventing switch closure unless the plug is fully inserted and blocking plug extraction when the switch is closed, also ensuring the socket cover cannot open during switch closure. These features reduce hazards in demanding operational environments.

The IP44 rating makes the socket splash-proof, suitable for use in harsh industrial settings exposed to moisture and dust. Additionally, impact resistance of 6 Joules and resistance to chemicals, weathering, and saline solutions further increase durability.
