Product Description

MG Chemicals 8481-2 Carbon Conductive Silicone Grease is a black paste grease supplied in a 454 ml tub, designed to lubricate and enhance electrical conductivity between sliding or fixed electrical contacts. This grease features a synthetic oil base which is silicone free and contains additional corrosion inhibitors to prolong component life, making it ideal for EMI shielding applications and electrical connection improvements.

The grease is effective in temperature ranges from -68°C to 165°C and maintains stability without separation under temperature cycling. Its high viscosity of 610000 cSt ensures it remains in place while preventing arching, pitting, hotspots, and welds between electrical parts.

This product provides strong resistance to corrosion and has been tested for over 300 hours of salt fog exposure, making it suitable for harsh and marine environments. It is safe for use with plastics, preventing damage to sensitive components while maintaining conductivity and lubrication.
