Fibox EKTZR EXTENSION FRAME is a high-quality polycarbonate extension frame designed for EK series electrical enclosures. This frame extends the enclosure height by 50 mm, increasing the flexibility of the modular system for housing electrical equipment.

Constructed from durable, impact-resistant polycarbonate, the frame offers excellent resistance against mechanical impacts, acids, and alkalis, ensuring long-term reliability in industrial environments. The grey-colored material is self-extinguishing and rated UL94-V2 for enhanced fire safety.

The frame can operate effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C, allowing continuous use up to +80°C. It is UV resistant and conforms to UL 508 standards, making it suitable for diverse industrial, automation, and electrical applications.

Protection ratings include IP66/IP67 for ingress protection, and it achieves IK08 for side surfaces and IK09 for front surfaces regarding impact resistance. This makes the frame ideal for protecting sensitive electrical components in challenging environments.

Optional gland plates and fasteners, which fit pre-pressed openings, are available separately for user convenience. This frame is supplied as part of a modular enclosure solution, facilitating easy installation and system upgrades.
