RS PRO IP66 Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure, model IP66, offers a protective housing measuring 30 mm in height, 50 mm in length, and 45 mm in width. Constructed from high-quality die cast aluminium (ALSi12), this enclosure is engineered for demanding industrial and electrical applications requiring robust environmental protection with an IP66 rating.
The enclosure features a silver lid with a Neoprene O-ring continuous gasket, ensuring waterproof sealing and protection against dust ingress. It includes captive stainless steel lid screws and four copper-plated earthing screws for secure grounding and electrical safety. The 3 mm thick walls provide strength and contribute to heat dissipation, making it suitable for projects that generate thermal load.
