TE Connectivity 62310-2 AMPLIVAR Open Barrel Splice Connector is an uninsulated, tin-plated splice terminal designed for industrial and electrical applications requiring reliable electrical connections. It accommodates copper and aluminium magnet wires either individually or combined with standard solid or stranded wires. The open barrel design features insulation-displacing serrations that remove the need for pre-stripping wires, ensuring superior electrical contact during crimping.
The connector produces crimps with outstanding tensile strength and resistance to vibration and corrosion, delivering contaminant-free connections without stripper residue or solder flux. It can terminate up to three magnet wires plus a lead wire simultaneously, making it ideal for complex wiring systems.
Made from brass with tin plating, this Splice Connector is durable and maintains excellent conductivity. Typical industrial uses include motor windings, coil connections, transformer windings, lighting ballasts, power supplies, starters, and alternators.
