RS PRO 619-1562 Edging Strip is a premium grade flexible edge protector strip manufactured from black Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber combined with a hollow sponge sealing section. This high-performance EPDM material provides excellent resistance against water, ozone, ultraviolet rays, oxidation, and extreme weather conditions, making it suitable for automotive, industrial, and construction use cases.

The edging strip incorporates a robust design featuring a U-shaped metal insert with teeth, covered by extruded black EPDM coating, and includes a looped wire carrier inside for secure edge clamping. Installation is straightforward by pressing the strip onto the edge; no tools, adhesives, or preparatory work are necessary. The grooved profile of the strip enables a firm grip on edges ranging from 1 to 3.5 mm thickness, effectively covering and protecting sharp or raw panel edges.

This 20-meter long edging strip is 16.8 mm wide and 11 mm in height, with a shore hardness rating of 60 ±5, providing both edge protection and additional sealing facilitated by the sponge rubber section that also absorbs shocks and reduces noise and vibration.
