Alpha Wire 25463 BK005 is a high-quality XTRA-GUARD 2 control cable designed for industrial signalling and control applications. The cable has a durable black polyvinyl chloride sheath that is flame retardant, UV resistant, and flame resistant according to UL1581 VW-1 and IEC 60332-1 standards. Rated for 300V operation and with a temperature tolerance range from -30°C to 90°C, it is suitable for a wide range of industrial environments.

This cable is constructed with seven strands per conductor (7 x 0.32mm strands), providing flexibility and robustness. Its screening consists of aluminium/Mylar foil combined with a tinned copper drain wire to enable simplified earth termination and superior electromagnetic protection.
