Product Description
Spelsberg 11040401 TK PS Series Grey Polystyrene Enclosure features a robust polystyrene base and cover with a grey (RAL 7035) finish. It provides rated insulation voltage up to AC 690 V and DC 1000 V with a sealable design for secure protection in indoor electrical installations.
This enclosure is compliant with multiple international safety standards including VDE 0471, UL94, EN 60529 (IP66), and DIN EN 5012 (IK07). Its polyurethane gasket ensures excellent sealing to prevent ingress of dust and water jets, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments such as electrical automation, control panels, and instrumentation housing.
Although it is not recommended for outdoor weather-proof use due to its polystyrene construction, it offers superior resistance to acids, alkalis, corrosion, and mechanical knocks compared to common plastic alternatives.
The TK PS Series enclosure allows for easy wall mounting using through holes located below lid fixing screws. Surface mounting is possible by using the knockouts in the base, with sealing plugs provided to maintain ingress protection when not used.
