Alpha Wire 45166 BK005 ECO Control Cable is a high-quality screened control cable featuring 6 cores with 0.81mm² (18 AWG) tin copper wires. The cable is sheathed in a black thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket that provides excellent durability and flexibility, allowing it to withstand extreme temperatures from -50°C to 125°C.
This cable is part of Alpha Wire's Xtra-Guard 4 range, designed for extreme temperature conditions and enhanced flexibility, being three times more flexible than traditional PVC cables. The Supra-Shield construction offers superior electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection through a combination of aluminium/polyester/aluminium foil and a tinned copper braided shield.
Rated at 300V and meeting CE, CSA, and UL standards, this cable is suitable for a wide range of industrial uses including control systems in paper manufacturing, mining operations, food and beverage processing, petrochemical plants, pipeline monitoring, military equipment, solar and wind power applications.
The cable has 16 strands per core, each strand measuring 0.25mm, ensuring excellent conductivity and mechanical strength.
