RS PRO 846-3036 RJ Series Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure provides high-quality protection for electrical and electronic equipment in demanding environments. It is constructed from durable die cast aluminium alloy (ALSi12) with a powder-coated grey finish that enhances corrosion resistance.
The enclosure measures 180 mm in height, 600 mm in length, and 310 mm in width. It features a watertight IP66 rating, ensuring effective protection from dust and water ingress, making it ideal for outdoor and industrial applications.
A continuous neoprene O-Ring gasket seals the lid, supplemented by 4 stainless steel lid screws and 4 copper plated earthing screws to provide grounding and safety compliance. The enclosure has a wall thickness of 3 mm for added structural integrity and includes a mounting plate suitable for DIN rail mounted components.
