Product Description
Hammond 1590BBOR die cast aluminium enclosure is a rugged electronic instrument housing designed for protection and ease of use. It features a lap joint construction providing IP54 rating for reliable ingress protection against dust and water splashes. This enclosure offers excellent EMI and RFI shielding, making it suitable for electronics applications in industrial and commercial environments.
The enclosure body is made from durable diecast aluminium alloy which is tough yet easy to machine for custom configurations. The orange polyester powder finish enables easy adhesion of labels and silk screening for identification and branding purposes. The enclosure comes with a matching orange lid secured by four or six 6-32 x 1/2 in. stainless steel machine screws in factory tapped holes, ensuring a solid assembly.
Designed with a low side wall draft angle of 2° or less, it facilitates easy PCB mounting and integration. The silicone gasket material enhances the sealing and reliability of the enclosure, crucial for maintaining the IP54 rating.
