RS PRO 186-3616 Conductive Epoxy Liquid Adhesive is a high-performance, silver-loaded, two-part thermosetting adhesive supplied in a 10 gram grey liquid form. Designed to provide superior electrical conductivity and robust mechanical bonding, this epoxy adhesive is an ideal solution for applications requiring reliable conductive bonding.
The adhesive is composed of an epoxy resin base with embedded silver flakes, delivering excellent oxidation resistance and maintaining conductivity even when oxidized, unlike traditional tin or lead-based materials. This property makes it an excellent choice for sensitive electronics and circuit assembly.
The material compatibility is broad, including metal, ceramic, glass, and plastic substrates, making it suitable for use where soldering is not feasible or desired. It withstands a maximum operating temperature of 150°C, providing thermal stability in rigorous industrial environments.
The conductive epoxy is designed to cure into a hard and wear-resistant bond when mixed at a 1:1 resin to hardener ratio by weight or volume. It features high durability with thermal, shock, and chemical resistance, ensuring long lasting and stable electrical and mechanical connections.
This adhesive is non-toxic and does not require pre or post-application cleaning, simplifying the application process and improving safety by removing the need for solder masks.
Typical applications include replacing soldered or brazed joints especially where temperature constraints exist. The epoxy serves as both a thermally conductive adhesive and an excellent glue for a variety of materials including wood, glass, and graphite.
Contains 10 g of silver loaded epoxy adhesive in liquid form. Suitable for industrial, laboratory, electronics assembly, HVAC, and other manufacturing applications. Explore the extensive range of adhesives and epoxies in the EnvMart catalog for your specific industrial bonding needs.
