Product Details

Thermocouple thermometer is an instrument used to measure temperature. The thermocouple consists of two wires joined together at their ends. When current passes through the junction of the wires, they become hot. This heat can be measured as a voltage drop across a resistor connected between the wires. The resistance of the wire varies according to its temperature. By measuring the voltage drop across the resistor, it is possible to determine the temperature of the junction.
