It is used to get the number of colonies of bacteria or fungi in the liquid suspension. This counter supports to count from 0-9999 and has 110 mm dish size and 1.7x magnification power which helps the user to see properly and make an accurate counting.The Colon Counter is made up of stainless steel material for its body and has a simple design which makes it easy to use by anyone. The counter works on 230 V single phase power source and has semi-automatic automation type with 1.7x magnification lens.The light source, which delivers light to the plate for colony growth.The photodetector, which detects light reflected from the plate surface and converts it into an electrical signal.The computer interface, which processes incoming data from the detector and displays it on screen.The software controls (implemented in Python 2.7) read data from the computer interface and perform basic image processing operations to identify colonies based on color intensity and shape characteristics.
