REGAL™ Systems – Gas Chlorination & Water Treatment Equipment

REGAL™ Systems has a long history of innovation in gas chlorination and water and wastewater treatment technology. Its heritage dates back to 1960, when Jim Haskett designed and patented an innovative direct-cylinder-mounted, all-vacuum gas chlorinator that helped transform the way chlorine gas could be safely and efficiently applied.

Earlier chlorination systems relied on numerous valves and components operating with chlorine gas under pressure, creating additional potential points of failure. Haskett's design introduced a fundamentally different approach: mounting the chlorinator directly on the gas cylinder while positioning the ejector at the point of chemical injection.

The system used vacuum rather than pressure to move chlorine gas from the cylinder valve toward the ejector. This simplified the installation, reduced the number of components required and provided an important safety characteristic—if the vacuum line was accidentally damaged or lost vacuum, chlorine gas flow would stop.

The direct-cylinder-mounted vacuum chlorinator concept proved highly successful and became widely adopted within the water treatment industry.

In 1975, Jim and Diane Haskett developed a new generation of chlorination equipment designed to further improve serviceability, durability and reliability. They established Chlorinators Incorporated and developed the REGAL™ product line around a continuing commitment to engineering quality, innovation, dependable operation and customer service.

Following a change in company ownership in 2022, the REGAL™ portfolio has continued to develop while maintaining its focus on gas-feed and water treatment technologies.
