The filter, also called Automatic Tower Filter press, is a semi continuous machine as opposed to conventional filter presses or any other pressure filter such as candle, horizontal plates or vertical leaf filter that are operating in batches  automatic backwashing filter system is used to filter low-viscosity, large flow and high-speed fluids. SFCT filters are widely used in metallurgy, chemical industry, power industry, re-injection of water in oil field, ballast water in shipping industry and water treatment.
