Product Description
The Böllhoff 233 06 060233/01 Stainless Steel Threaded Insert is a precision-engineered component designed to create durable internal threads in thin sheet materials or panels. The use of high-grade stainless steel ensures superior corrosion resistance and durability, ideal for demanding applications in mechanical engineering, electronics assembly, sheet metal fabrication, and automotive component installation.
This insert features an M6 thread, making it compatible with commonly used metric fasteners. Its 12mm flange diameter and 9mm fixing hole diameter are optimized for straightforward installation and reliable performance, preventing rotation or loosening under vibration or stress. With a depth of 13.3mm and suitability for material thicknesses from 0.8mm to 1.5mm, this insert is versatile for use across a variety of substrate thicknesses.
The component is finished plain, ensuring it remains unobtrusive within finished assemblies while providing a smooth surface that facilitates both insertion and subsequent fastening. Its compliance with RoHS standards supports use in regulated environments, including electronic equipment and industrial machinery, where hazardous substances are restricted.
Typical uses include the installation of strong machine threads in aluminum, steel, or plastic panels or sheet components where through-bolting or weld nuts are impractical. It is particularly valuable for creating removable, serviceable joints in automation equipment, vehicle frames, furniture, and control panels, enabling assembly and disassembly operations without affecting the structural integrity of the host material.
Industrial users can benefit from the ease of automation in installation methods, as the insert supports both manual and machine-driven setting for streamlined production. This threaded insert is part of the Böllhoff Rivkle series, renowned for reliability and interoperability with a wide range of fastening tools.
In summary, the Böllhoff Stainless Steel Threaded Insert 233 06 060233/01 offers an engineered, professional solution for securing M6 fasteners in environments where high integrity, precision, and corrosion resistance are essential.
