Product Description
The process consists of two beds filled with carbon molecular sieves (CMS). Nitrogen is produced as product gas when pre-filtered compressed air passes through the CMS bed. Exhaust gases (oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) are released into the atmosphere. When the CMS bed becomes saturated, the process switches nitrogen regeneration to another bed and the saturated bed is regenerated by depressurization to atmospheric pressure. This ensures a continuous supply of nitrogen to the system.
