Axiva SFNY13X is a 13mm sterile syringe filter with a nylon membrane that delivers reliable sample filtration for research, analytical, and clinical laboratories. Designed specifically for single-use, this filter offers exceptional performance for filtration of both aqueous and organic solvents.

The membrane is constructed from Nylon66, characterized by hydrophilic wettability which enhances sample compatibility and reduces sample loss. ETO sterilization ensures that the filter meets the strict sterility requirements for sensitive laboratory procedures.

Low extractable (NVR) values, as outlined in USP XXIV, make the filter ideal for applications where impurity minimization is critical, such as HPLC sample preparation, mobile phase separation, and filtration prior to instrumental analysis. The SFNY13X achieves excellent retention at 0.2 µm-LRV >7 for Brevundimonas diminuta, indicating reliable microbial removal.

Each 13 mm filter provides an effective filtration area of 0.8 cm² and a hold-up volume of 20 µl, making it suitable for volumes ranging from 1 - 10 ml. The high water flow rates (0.45 µm - 67.2 ml/min, 0.2 µm - 35.4 ml/min) support rapid sample processing with minimal back pressure.
