Stack Emission Monitoring

Stack Emission Monitoring measures pollutants from industrial stacks. It includes testing of PM, SO₂, NOx, and other gases. The monitoring is conducted under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, as per standards defined by the Central Pollution Control Board and State Pollution Control Boards. It supports compliance with consent conditions and regulatory reporting. The results enable effective emission control, improved air quality, and sustainable industrial operations.

Scope of service: (Note: This is similar to Service 69, often listed separately for clarity). We provide comprehensive stack monitoring for all types of fuels and processes. In addition to standard parameters, we can monitor for specific pollutants like dioxins & furans, mercury, or HCl based on industry needs, using sophisticated sampling trains and analytical techniques.

Process flow: Client consultation to define specific monitoring requirements → Selection of appropriate US EPA or CPCB reference method → On-site stack sampling using specialized equipment (e.g., VOST for VOCs, impingers for acid gases) → Advanced laboratory analysis (GC-HRMS for dioxins) → Detailed reporting of emissions, often with isotopic or congener-specific data where required.
