Environmental Risk Assessment

Environmental Risk Assessment identifies and evaluates environmental hazards. It includes risk analysis, impact assessment, and mitigation planning. Aligned with MoEFCC and CPCB guidelines the study is conducted under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, EIA Notification guidelines, and relevant rules, it ensures compliance. It helps reduce risks and improve environmental safety.

Scope of service: We conduct a systematic Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) to identify potential environmental hazards (e.g., chemical spills, tank failures, treatment plant breakdowns), assess their likelihood and consequence, and prioritize risks. We then develop a risk mitigation and emergency preparedness plan to manage the identified risks, integrating it into the overall environmental management system.

Process flow: Hazard identification through HAZOP or checklist methods → Assessment of probability and severity of potential environmental incidents → Risk ranking and prioritization (e.g., using a risk matrix) → Development of risk control and mitigation measures for high-priority risks → Preparation of the ERA report and integration of findings into operational procedures.
