Water Balance Study

What is the service: Study to assess water input, usage, and output within a facility.

Scope of service: We conduct a detailed water audit to create a comprehensive water balance. We install temporary meters or use data logging to measure water use at major consumption points, quantify evaporation and product loss, and measure wastewater generation. The study identifies areas of high consumption, leaks, and opportunities for recycling, resulting in a water balance diagram and specific conservation recommendations.

Process flow: Pre-study data collection and process understanding → Installation of flow meters at key points (optional) → Detailed measurement of all water inflows and outflows over a representative period → Data analysis and preparation of a Sankey diagram or water balance model → Identification of water losses and inefficient use → Preparation of a report with water conservation recommendations.
