Biomedical Waste Authorization

What is the service: Authorization to handle and dispose of biomedical waste.

Who needs it: Hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, labs.

Scope of service: We guide healthcare facilities through the BMW authorization process. This includes assessing waste generation, ensuring proper segregation, collection, and storage infrastructure is in place, preparing the authorization application with site plans and SOPs, and coordinating with the SPCB for inspection. We ensure the facility meets all standards under the Biomedical Waste Management Rules.

Process flow: Assessment of BMW generation and existing practices → Guidance on setting up color-coded bins, storage room, and labeling → Preparation of BMW management plan and application forms → Submission to SPCB and coordination for inspection → Assistance in addressing inspection observations → Follow-up for issuance of BMW Authorization.
