- Consists of a uniform metal disc of about 15 cm dia and 6 mm thickness suspended by means of a wire. The upper end of the wire is gripped in a pin-vice fixed to a wall-bracket, and the lower end is gripped in another pin-vice fitted at the edge of the disc. The disc has a hole drilled at its circumference which can accommodate the pin-vice. In either position of the pin-vice, the disc is meant to rotate about the axis of the wire.
