Laminate filters are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic laminate which is an extremely durable and long lasting filter media. The laminate is then placed into a metal frame which allows it to be mounted on the side of your aquarium. This design provides excellent filtration while allowing easy access to the gravel bed.
