The Lutron TM-969 is a dual-mode thermometer that combines non-contact infrared (IR) and contact Type K thermocouple temperature measurements. The IR mode allows for contactless measurement of surfaces from -60°C to 1000°C, with a 50:1 optical resolution and dual laser targeting. The contact mode, using Type K thermocouples, provides an extended range from -64°C to 1400°C for accurate internal temperature measurements. The device features a backlit LCD, MIN/MAX/DIFF/AVG functions, data logging, adjustable alarms, and is powered by AAA batteries.
