Differential Pressure Gauge Magnetic Piston Type This type of differential pressure gauge is used to measure the difference between two different pressures. This type of differential pressure gauge uses a magnetic piston to measure the pressure difference. The magnetic piston is attached to a magnetically sensitive element. When the pressure changes, the position of the piston changes and this change is measured using a pointer connected to the magnetically sensitive element.
