Schaffer's Diaphragm Pressure Gauge The sensing element is an elas c diaphragm, with a concentric corrugated one that drives the amplifying movement through a ball joint. The annual clamped diaphragm is extensively intense ve to jamming or vibration They are designed to measure pressure or vacuum of viscous, sediments, crystallizable or corrosive ?uids. Compared to the bourdon tube system they are more robust and are beer able to withstand overpressure or aggressive ?uids
