KTR BOWEXM24-COMPLETE flexible coupler is a BoWex series component that offers a 36 mm outer diameter and 56 mm length, constructed from polyamide and steel for exceptional durability and low maintenance. This flexible coupling is engineered to deliver a positive torque transmission while compensating for shaft misalignments including axial, radial, and angular displacements. Its double cardanic curved-tooth gear design provides torsional rigidity and reduces wear by avoiding edge pressure in the spline.

The combination of steel hubs with polyamide sleeves ensures maintenance-free operation with low friction, making it suitable for continuous use without lubrication. Polyamide’s excellent thermal stability and resistance to lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids, and solvents make this coupling ideal for harsh and aggressive industrial environments.

Operating at temperatures up to 100°, the coupling can be installed both vertically and horizontally without requiring special assembly tools. It is widely used across various industries such as food manufacturing, printing and paper production, textiles, sewage treatment, chemical and pharmaceutical processing, and offshore units. The design also assures no periodic fluctuations in angular velocity due to the double cardanic feature.

Hubs are supplied unbored, allowing customers to machine them to precise specifications within coupling parameters. The product complies with EC directive 94/9/EC dated March 23 as well as ATEX 1994 standards, ensuring safe operation in regulated environments. Note that couplings with attachments capable of generating heat, static charge, or sparks are not permitted in hazardous locations.
